Can't Breath

Before Bypass surgery in oct 2005 I ran three miles every morning and every evening. I weighted 170 lbs. 5'8'' tall. I contracked MRSA staff in my cheast. They reopened me and scraped for 10 days. Was on IV antibotic (antibiotic) still in the hospital for about 8 weeks. I was sent home and told all was well.
I can't walk across the room now. Have been told I have COPD. I never smoked nor did I have lung problems before the Bypass. Had I known I would never had the surgery.

Any Advice??

The physical recovery from CABG, especially one that was as involved as yours requiring re operation often requires months or rehabilitation to get back into the physical condition that you were in. Have you been to cardiac rehab? If not this may be the best place to start. It sounds as if you also have lung problems, which may mean you can also benefit from pulmonary rehab, for breathing coaching. All of these instinctive things need sometimes to be re-taught after patients undergo CABG.
