Thanks cindy.  Unfortunately i have other problems that could mimic symptoms of an open PFO. I have Hashimotos, Hypothyroidism, Hypertensive, Fibromyalgia.   I just went in to get a heart murmur checked out and he saw that i possible have some red blood cells flowing through my cardio seal.

I guess the big question is are you having issues now five years later?  If that is the case you need to contact the heart doc as soon as possible....if you just had testing done and it was revealed that during the original implementation of closure it was not sealed fully you need to ask the docs if you are at risk for things further down the road and if they suggest a secondary seal implantation.  I personally would be looking at risk factors if it were my body and then get pro active about it.
