I hope you got an answer at some point. I'm currently going through all the tests. So far my bloodwork, xrays, and chest CT scan have all been normal. My ekg was slightly abnormal but nothing they got worried over. I'm getting ready to have a stress test and echocardiagram in a few days. From what I've researched and been told, an echocardiagram is usually the most accurate test for diagnosing cardiomyopathy- with a 95 percent accuracy so it's MORE than likely that cardiomyopathy would have been caught on an echo..
