im at 180 mg. I take it at 9pm everynight. I have been taking it for 1 week now.
I don't think I am getting any side effects at all. I can go to the gym and work out and run 3 miles and everything.
However, I do still get palpitations from time to time. By palpitations...I mean that I can feel my heart beating. My heart does not race. I sure hope that after 3 or 6 months I will be able to stop the medication like my cardiologist is suggesting.
What is everyone else's experience with taking this medication? Did you get to quit the medication after a while?
Hi there! I am glad that your Echo went well and that you don't have permanent heart damage.
Maybe you should start drinking the new meds, but wait a few days before working out again, just to see if you get any side effects from the meds.
yes. thank you for asking.
normal echocardiogram....
good stress test on the treadmill. however...it did take a long time for my heart to recover from the 12 minutes on the treadmill. the cardiologist wasnt too happy about that. but he says that this should only be a temporary condition for me to live with since my heart is structurally normal with no signs of permanent damage. :)
I am trying to structure a workout plan now that involves daily cardio so that I can get my heart back into shape so I can get back to the old me.
I am also wondering how the cardizem la will be effecting my workouts. I will begin taking the cardizem tomorrow. 180 mg. I sure hope I don't have a weird reaction to it.
Hi. Did you see your Cardio yesterday?
