6 months ago my friend had a heart attack. There was a blockagePeripheral artery disease so a stint was inserted into his artery. They also found a clotBlood clots and dissolved it. Early last week he woke up with a very tight chest and was having trouble breathing. He said it felt like there was a huge weight on his chest. His wife took him to the ER. They said his heart was spasming. All of a sudden his heart spasmed and stopped. They had to use CPRCpr Cpr - adult Cpr - child (1 to 8 years old) Cpr - infant and the paddles to get his heart going again. At one point they had to inject nitroNitro td patch-a Nitro-bid Nitro-dur into 2 of his arteries. That opened them up. When they had him stablized he was life flighted to a heart hospital. They checked him over, and said that he may have PAD. they are treating him with (forgive my spelling) imdur and norclasc or something like that. Anyhow, he was sent home and the next day he was having tightness and pain in his chest, so back to the ER and life flighted to the heart hospital. Now they are wondering if he has a blood disorderAdjustment disorder Anorexia nervosa Asperger syndrome Autism Autoimmune disorders Bipolar disorder Bipolar disorder Bleeding disorders Borderline personality disorder Bulimia Chronic motor tic disorder because he has an infection in the arm that had the IV. There are also red spots on his arms and legs. They just don't know exactly what is causing his heart problems. They are now thinking they may send him to Mayo.
