Chest Pain/Tightness Complications

Hello, I'm new to this forum. I am in a complicated "pickle" I guess you could say. I am a 21 year old male with hypertension but for the most part it is under control via medications. I have been having shortness of breath, chest pain(less often), and chest tightness in the center of the chest. This has started about 7 months ago. Since then, about 5-6 months ago, I had an ultrasound of the heart(I don't know the exact name of it, it is better than a stress test and has a 99% accuracy rate) by a good rated cardiologist, MRI's MRA's of my body including ultrasound of the abdomen, gall bladder tests, a 48-hour Holter monitor test(normal); Seen a pulmonologist, had a spirometer (everything is normal); Saw a GI specialist had an endoscopy, and a barium swallow. Polyps were found and removed. Biopsies came back normal other than some inflammation of the stomach. Since symptoms started I have been to the ER about 6 times also, everything was normal sent home every time. But here's the catch. I still have random chest pains in the center or just to the left of my chest, and when I get emotionally into a song, video game, or say a movie, my chest tightens up in the center and it really scares me. My doctor and pretty much all of my specialists insist they think I'm fine without further investigation. Furthermore, I have shortness of breath pretty much the whole day as I have been since all of this started. And recently, hours after drinking alcohol and sleeping, I awake with palpitations which has never happened to me before. Also in the past month I have been diagnosed with bronchitis, then I had a sinus infection, and now I have a virus which is kinda peculiar I've never been this consecutively sick and I don't know if my shortness of breath is because all of this. I pretty much have no life anymore because I don't know what's wrong with me and I pretty much am in fear of dying all of the time because all of this chest discomfort. If this isn't my heart, I'm convinced it's stomach related? I'm sick of every doctor saying it's anxiety I'm not even generally an anxious person. Please any suggestions? I don't know who to turn to my doctor seems almost annoyed with me with all of these symptoms.

Thanks.

im also 21 having same chest tightness but over my heart  also with minor hypertension had bunch of tests stress echo ecg(ekg) ultra sound also heart monitor for 2 weeks they found that i went into nsvt which causes ur heart beat fast but rarely it happend they put me on beta blockers that control your heart rate and  lower your bp Atenol(Atenolol). Later after seeing specialist in london told me i got a short circet and its not that bad it can be fixed or treated with meds so I just take it easy with video games play for an hour or two  and take brake dont get into game to much its just a game also same for the music usually just listen to calm relaxing songs i also quit alcohol and pot  i was a big fan of pot but oh well it made my heart beat fast pot increases hb by 20 bp per min. I might be going on anti axiety meds soon (benzo class) just to relax...I  dont really have any axiety anymore kinda got use to this over time. Try not to drink much alcohol caffeine this is important trust me i'm talking about coffee tea pepsi coke chocolate specially no drinks like red bull monsters that stuff speeds up your heart rate and causes papitations try to drink more juices and eat healhy meals like boiled chiken fish with vegies  you gonna thank me if you stick to it. :)
for sweets once in a while try cheese cake with fruits  also it could be possible that you got a ulcer try to drink aloe vera juice to heal your stomach and prevent acid going up ur asophagus right after meal and in the morning//before bed also talk to your doc maby he can give u some anti acid medication like rabeprazol or zentac. I also noticed my hypertension is way higher right after i eat so get a bp monitor for 50 $ bucks and see if your bp going up right after food  oh one more thing try not to over eat my bp go from 120 to 145 and up if i over eat. Good luck playa you not the only one in that boat!! Legato_bluesummers***@****

Thank you Cindy. I researched the EBCT and it said there aren't many in the world so I don't know if my hospital will have it. The ultrasound test they gave me is better than a stress test, and it was hard getting my insurance to even cover this test because usually people do the stress test or catherization which is far more cheaper. The success rate of this test leaves >99% so it was pretty good I guess. And my GI doctor and family doctor insist I don't have reflux although I think I might have an extreme bout of it, if, this is in fact not heart / lung related, or a hiatal hernia they haven't picked up yet, because I feel like sitting down makes my breathing and chest tightness far worse. I'm also scared to offend my doctors and get a second opinion as they don't want me to continue to get retested even after this time has past, so I just don't know what to do. But the problem is getting worse and I'm sick of going to the ER and getting poked.

I am just going to toss out a couple of things for you to research on your own....one would be GERD....the second would be angina......the great news is that all of your tests have come back pretty much negative....the only other test i can think of that maybe you could suggest just to possibly put this to rest would be a EBCT so that the docs can take a look a little closer at the heart and the interior of the arteries....thats my two cents worth......
