Chest X results

Chest X results read the following:
Heart size is increased.   The aorta is unfolded and tortuous and the arch is calcified.
The pulmonary vessels appear normal.
No lung, rib or pleural abnormality is shown.
The bones are osteoporotic

Does anyone know what  this means?

As long as the enlarged heart does not affect the pumping ability then it shouldn't be a problem. An echocardiogram can show what the pumping is like and your doctor can then make a determination.

This means you should see a Cardiologist, were you referred to one? You need to find the underlying cause for the enlargement in your heart size so it can be resolved.

Good luck!
