A couple of months ago I started to have some abdominal discomfort right below my
ribRib cage pain cage in the centre also my chest would become quite tight sometimes there would be slight pain around the heart area.
I went to my local doctor who’s initial thoughts were on the lines of asthma. Anyway to
cutCuts and puncture wounds a long story short he investigated the heart I have had an

I guess these pains have me worried that it might be heart related as it is hard to associate these feelings with anything else. I have been reading trough this forum and I am worried that it might be angina of some sort. I have the abdominal pain cramp all day (pain would be 2 on the scale of 10 more discomfort than pain) and during the day it will move up to my chest at different times this pain feels like there is something stuck in my chest. Also if I press the

I have recently given up smoking 4 months and I am 32 years old.
It is great that there are people out the like you that care enough to take the time out to help thanks you so much.
I know the general rule because I suffer from costochondritis(inflammation and tenderness where the ribs connects to the sternum and also the intercostal spaces, usually without swelling), the general rule is usually if something hurts more when you press your chest wall area it is very unlikely to be related to the heart or lungs, it is more likely musculoskeletal. I am not a doctor, i have only been told this by my cardiologist, this might not apply to your symptoms at all, hope you feel better soon, I know how ditressing it can be.
