Chest pain

by chefmac, Oct 01, 2007 09:35AM
I have had a pain in the right side of my chest for several days as well as some irritation in my right arm that feels like the slighest of tingling. The chest pain seems musculature because it gets worse when I sneeze or move quickly to the left. I have also experienced back pain similar to the one I get when I have severe heartburn. Is this something I should be concerned with?

It does not sound cardiac in nature and is most likely, as you said skeletal.  The fact that it gets worse when you sneeze or move fast makes me concluded that.  You can try taking some tylenol or motrin for it as long as you dont have any liver or kidney problems or any allergies to those medications.  If the pain does not go away after seven days consider getting in touch with your doctor.
