Chest pain

by Patty911, Jan 26, 2008 02:54PM
Two questions:
(1) my husband has been suffering with chest pain, shoulder pain and arm pain since the New Year.  Had a cath. done (cked. out fine) and a stress test (all is fine with the heart).  What are some other possiblities for him to pinpoint exactly the location of the pain in chest and now the shoulders...when he takes the perscribed amount of metrolopol (High Blood Pressure Med), the chest pain goes away.
(2) Never before was he diagnosed as having High Blood Pressure.  Why is his bl.pr. elevated on the bottom number but pulse runs average or even slow in the 50's.
