Chest pain

My left arm feels like it a sleep  and my chest hurts it about three to four inches above my heart on the left side and it about an inch from my shoulder . i broke my ribs there 5 years ago and when we have cold weather the ribs will hurt so last year i was in pain with my chest and i had to do the stres test for my heart and the doc could find nothing with my heart she told me i was in good shape my blood pressure is  not that high sometimes so can a pinch nerve cause the left arm to hurt and my neck has been killing me on the left side i was digging in my yard and I might over did myself  so the question is will a pinch nerve make your chest hurt and your left arm to hurt  or it just my ribs acting up and I been seeing a doctor and he told I got bad ribs and they will hurt more when the weather changes or when I have stress so it that true or what I  hate going to the doc every time my chest hurts and they do all the test on me and then they dont find nothing wrong with me and  then they think I am just making things up or they tell me that it just my ribs and it just inflamation (inflammation) in my ribs so what  do you think
