I am a 46 year old male. Last October I was diagnosed as having Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. This was some two & a half years after having a presumed viral infection on the outside of my left lung.
At the time of infection it was discovered during investigation into the cause of the pain I was experiencing, that I had a bicuspid

Thoracic aortic aneurysm valve. The specialist told me that it was in good condition & should not trouble me for 25-30 years, but that I should have it checked every 5 years.
Recently I came across the researth work of Dr A Martin Lerner of William Beaumat Hospital, Royal Oak Michigan concerning CFS & cardiomyopathy due to perhaps viral infection in the heart. Apparently 100% of the CFS patients tested had abnormal T waves in a 24 hour test & cardiomyopathy was found in many/all (?) (please excuse the imprecision here) of them.
My question is this. If Dr Lerner's research is
correctCorrect (new formula), particularly the suspicion that the heart malfunction may be due to a virus, (I have not had any such tests myself) does my having a bicuspid
