Circumflex Artery Blockage

I've been diagnosed w/ 95%Blockage in my Lft Circumflex Artery, I also have COPD 10 yrs on O2 4 Liters
24/7.  How dangerous is the Stint procedure and is this blockage restricting my lung capacity? I'm
not on plavix yet, what other blood thinner is available as I have to be on 10 mgm of prednisone orally
daily?  Thank you.

Stent procedures are not high risk at all. Lung capacity? this is usually a problem with lung disease where airways are inflamed and narrowed. When your coronary arteries are blocked, there is a tendency to breath a bit faster to try and get more oxygen to the heart muscle, but the Lungs efficiency isn't going to be affected by that artery. The right side of your heart pumps blood through the lungs, so if you had severe heart failure or pulmonary system pressure issues, then this could cause breathing problems.
