Clicky heart beat

hi there my name is tamsin , my boyfriend went to the doctors and the doctor said that his heart sounded clicky ? , he then did an echo and said that when some one does extensive exercise or physical sports like my boyfriend does then the muscle becomes to big , and this causes less blood to flow to his heart . My question is is there anything he can do to help this , there a name and is it the heart which is too big (as in the muscles in the heart) or his muscles in general and is it very dangerous to him ?

I don't know what he means exactly by a clicky heart. But the heart can hypertrophy in response to exercise, or sometimes in a pre-determined genetic fashion. I would suggest less isometric exercise and more aerobic or 'cardio' workout. If he experiences palpitations, near passing out spells or actual passing out spells then he should see a cardiac specialist in the area of hypertrophic hypertrophy.
