Concerned health

I am a 48 year old female who has smoked for 39 years, I was involved in an accident in 1988 and received tainted blood which gave me hepatitis c.  I was diagnosed with coronary artery spasm, unstable angina, a defective mitro valve and COPD and high blood pressure (around 160/80 to 190/100)

I lost my health insurance 3 years ago and am becoming more concerned with my health because I have 2 school age children still at home. I went to the doctor recently because I now recieve medicaid wanting to get back on medication to better my health (the origional doctor place me on (nitro, lasix, cardiziam, metaphorphil) and at the time the doctor did not appear concerned about any of my health issues, he did not put me on any meds nor gave me any referrals to any specialists, only told me to be prepaired for the possibility of liver transplant in my near future!!!
which made me less concerned at the time. I have been without medicine for some time and have continued to suffer from chest pain, shortness of breath and pain at the site of my liver.
Should I be concerned or just trust this doctor!!!!!

Standard procedure is shots before there are any symptoms.  I do not know why you have not had them (if it is because of your heart I am not sure).  Hep C can turn to liver cancer, so you need to be careful.  
Nitro is bad for the liver, so that would be another concern.  I think you should get a second opinion.
