Confused

by bucrepus, Aug 25, 2009 07:23PM
I had a Cardiac test done (I am 33 YOA female non smoker) and got these results. The report said RVSP was elevated 36mmHg. Right and left valves normal, aortic root & excursion normal, mitral leaflets normal, tricuspid normal. No regurgitation in valves noted except trace tricuspid regurgitation. No aortic insufficiency. Conclusions: 1. Normal L / R ventricle function. 2. Mildly elevated right ventricular systolic pressure.

Is this bad? My blood pressure usually runs 100/70. How can my RVSP be elevated with a low BP? Is this something I should worry about?

Thanks
