Coronary Dissection

by Shellc, Oct 13, 2007 09:41PM
My sister was recently diagosed with Coronary Artery Dissection.  She is 46 years old and has lived in Australia for the past 11 years.  She was placed on several medications and bedrest for the past 3 months.  She underwent a repeat angiogram last week and the dissection has not healed at all.  They really don't know what to do with her and she is feeling quite frustrated and anxious about it.    Is the location of the dissection contingent on what type of treatment is given? Should she come to the states for treatment? I am extremely concerned also.  Thank you very much.
