Coronary ectasia

Coronary ectasia

Hi, I'm a 44 year old male and have just undergone an angiogram following a positive (ST depression) excercise electro cardiogram.
The angiogram showed no  stenosis but the consultant stated that it was not normal in that the coronary arteries were abnormally enlarged and were only "filling" slowly. He described the condition as coronary ectasia.
I was wondering as to the cause of this as to my knowledge there is no family history, I am not aware of having any inflamatory disaease when I was younger such as kawasaki disease.
In my searches I have seen several references to possible links to nitrous oxide NO metabolism of the arterial wall and its link with acetylcholine and repeated over stimulation/vasodilation causing this conditon.
I have been a long term sufferer of "general anxiety disorder" and was wondering that as acetylcholine is one of the mediators of the stress response if there is any documented evidence of stress being a cause of coronary ectasia.?

I have had coronary artery ectasia for 12 years.  It was diagnosed after having survived an MI and coma.  I have no childhood cardiac history though I always tired easily and was sickly.  I am looking for doctors doing research on ectasia.  I have been told I have very severe ectasia.
