Could This Have Been A Heart Attack?

Ok first let me start by saying I am 26 years old and I had a heart echo done in January cause I was having irregular heart beats,  and my cardiologist said my heart was fine and I am on atenolol for my irregular heart beats.  2 days ago I began having a dull ache near the edge of my left breast almost in the chest area if that makes any sense and I also had some left arm pain (Which is normal for me as I have had left arm pain before which I think is due to my low vitamin d or my gallbladder or acid reflux).  Yesterday I had some episodes where the pain in my breast area hurt really bad and then it went away last night.  I still have the pain but its faint and my left arm hurts every now and then.  Does this sound like a heart attack?  Isn't Atenolol suppose to prevent it?  What should I do?  I don't have the money to go to my regular doctor right now.

I went to my doctor yesterday, I had an EKG done which she said it was normal and said that its my gallbladder and to not eat no meat, fried or greasy foods, but i'm not so sure it is although I haven't eaten any fried or greasy foods and the chest pain isn't so bad but today i've had left and right arm pain and my legs feels weak

Chest pain should always be taken seriously, regardless of age or health history.  You never know.  It is better to address these questions to a doctor. Take care, Ally

If you really suffer from acid reflux, this can produce the chest pain, but considering that:

1) You had suffered before left arm pain which I doubt is due to reflux or gallbladder, but could be angina.
2) Your symptoms can be the ones of a heart attack
3) Atenolol will not prevent the HA.
4) Only after proper tests you will know what is it.

And it is better to be in the safe side, I will go to ER, at least they will be able to rule out HA with an blood test an ECG.
