Crest Syndrome

I do not have a heart problem.
I have Crest Syndrome and I also have very frequent colds, viruses etc. Is it safe to take garlic capsules increased dosages of Vit C for my infections,or will this boost my immune system so much that the Crest might worsen. I am concerned that it will attack my lungs.
