DCM and valve regurgitation

Thank you very much for answering my former questions so promtly and thoroughly.  To give you more information, my aortic and mitral valve regurgitations I have been told are caused from the cardiomyopathy.  I guess they think my cardiomyopathy was caused by a virus.  With this info, what are my chances of repair or replacement of my mitral valve?  I do understand that at some point a heart transplant is the only treatment for my condition.  What I am asking is how long does it take to get to that point?  I would also like to know if having the secondary valve regurgitations will make this condition progress faster?  Will asthma make it progress faster? aside from not being able to go on the Coreg?  I was 38 when diagnosed and am now 39.  This information is very important to me.  I am seeing an Intervention Cardiologist, is that the right kind of Doctor?  Thank you very much for your time.   Staci H.
