Thoracic aortic aneurysm. The only tests I’ve had are EHCO cardiograms and in the 7 years I’ve been monitored with ECHO this is the first time I’ve see calcification mentioned in the report.

Could you suggest the most appropriate diagnosticDiagnostic laparoscopy procedural steps to determine if I am a candidate for a AV repair vs. replacement? Would a CardiacCardiac catheterization
Cardiac tamponade
Left heart ventricular angiography MRIAbdominal mri
Chest mri
Heart mri
Lumbosacral spine mri
Melanoma of the liver - mri scan

Mri of the brain
Mri of the head
Mri scans
Spine mri be a good first step?

Knowing if I am or not would encourage me look to a hospital with doctors having more experience in this field than one that does very well with prosthetic tissue valve replacement.

Should I consider haveing the MV done at the same time as the AV?

Also can you tell me if non-prosthetic tissue valve replacement is  a better choice for my age class?

I’ve seen that the Cleveland Clinic is top in valve repair techniques.  Thank you
