I would like to know the role of the following medicines which are prescribed by the Honorable Dr. for my Dad after consulting with him. My dad (60 yrs old) is suffering from some heart disease (to my understanding
dilatedDilated cardiomyopathy heart). My query is that:-
1. Are the medicines to be continued till his life ?
2. Wat precautions are to be taken by him ?
3. Is it fatal ?
4. Is there any kind of operations availalble ?
5. Is this a permanent illness ?

I am no professional but looking at the names of the medications, my guess is your dad is in India.
My mom who is only 51 has been suffering from Dilated Cardiomyopathy for a long time. She was diagnosed abt 2 yrs back and takes similar medications. If you are in India, I will highly recommend 'Asian Heart Institute' in Bombay for good heart care and help in diagnosing what your dad has.
