Those are known side effects. Even my father has the same problem but he has improved since last few days
I am not a doctor but wanted to send you a note anyway.
She can get better, do not give it up! Many of us here had 20% EF or lower. Her age is high, still do not give up .My EF went normal few months . For many people won’t, only improving a little .and then they won’t feel that weak. I was 53 years old at that time. Now I am 61.
Be sure your mother taking the pills, might need adjustments, that also can help on the tiredness . Her cardiologist will know that. What you can do is that: be sure she has plenty of rest, loving optimistic attitude from the family. Also take her for walks every day even if only short time, or just around the house or in the house. Her food must be very low in sodium, no more than 1600 my sodium a day. You have to calculate all the food she is eating. Better to eat small portions 4 times a day.
My Best wishes to her !
My mother age 87 years old. Now she is suffering from severe LV dysfunction. EF 25%, LVID (ED) 61 mm. Feeling very weak. Is there any risk. At present taking medicine under cardiologist. Pls. advice me.
To all
I have severe LV dysfunction , My EF Post MI was 17 % only
Now it has improved to 28 %
Initially I had this gastric problem , I was taking Pantocid before taking tablets. Then frequent salivation was causing problems , because of Cardace then it was replaced with Repace , Till now i do not have that problem.
Belching/Burping was frequent during the initial months. Then i increased the intake of Fibres , Vegetables and Fruits and Increased the intake of Garlic. Now i do not have this problem , It has been nearly 5 years since i had this belching/Burping following the in take of medicines.
Thanks for the suggestion.. I had informed the cardiologist about this and he had asked not to worry about that for some time.
I want to know, if this effect is there for others who take these medications.
Check the side effects listed on the paper you get when you get the meds (or check on line). It is very probably one or more of the meds are causing this. Speak with the cardiologist...if it is one of the meds, more often than not they can switch to something else. She should not have to put up with this.
Forgot to Mention.. She is only 46 Years Old
