Dilated myocardiomyopathy has the highest success rate with treatment than concentric cardiomyopathy, etc.

The underlying cause for dilated chamber ( remodel left ventricle) is often due to an overworked heart.  Usually, it is high blood pressure, etc. that overworks the heart, and medication to lower bp can bring relief to the heart and it will reverse remodeling.

How well the underlying cause can be treated is determinant for a healthy prognosis.
