I am assuming that your blood counts have been checked and are OK. The inner ear idea sounds most likely. If so, the meclizine should help. If not, a small stroke is a possibility, and evaluation by a neurologist may help make the diagnosis.
My husband and his uncle both had bypass surgery, and afterwards had the dizzyness. They both had mild strokes during their surgery (10 to 15% have strokes during surgery), that affected the part of the brain that controls their balance. My husbands was discovered after a MRI was preformed. My husband saw a neurologist for this evaluation.
