Double Valve Replacement

Posted By Linda P. on November 02, 1998 at 11:30:42:

In February 1995 I had a double valve replacement called the Ross Procedure.
The only medicine I take today is an aspirin a day!  One of the symptoms I
had before the surgery was rapid heart beating.  Since the surgery, every
once in a while my heart will beat very fast and when I cough, it will
usually stop.  Is this normal?  It isn't real bothersome but just annoying
at times!  Thanks for your help.
