Dull left side chest ache, palpitations, fatigue

Background info: 20 year old male, healthy body weight at 5'10" & 146 lbs, little to no family history of health problems, lead a sedentary lifestyle. I should also note that I don't know if this is mitral valve prolapse, but the symptoms identify well with me. I'll be going to a doctor shortly, tomorrow's a possibility.

For the past week (or slightly less time) I've been experiencing random heart flutters and a constant pounding heartbeat. There is no accelerated heart rate (65/min), at least not to the degree of tachycardia, the beats are just extremely hard. I can easily feel them when I put my hand to my chest and even throughout my body when lying down. It feels awkward and really disrupts my sleep. When lying on my sides the pounding is exacerbated and I also experience spurts of breathlessness that gives me a jolt and basically tells me to sit up for awhile. I physically can not sleep. I've slept a few measly hours in the past 3 days including naps. The only times I have felt comfortable enough to sleep were when I was lying flat on my back with my head elevated atop a stack of pillows - and even then that was only temporary. Before these symptoms were present I hadn't slept on my back in about 10 years since I find it uncomfortable as is. I feel fatigued and I think I'm starting to feel slightly light headed, though that might just be the fatigue.

I've also felt an off and on dull aching pain on the left side of my chest. In the past I've seemed to experience PCS and other various chest ailments that didn't seem serious and didn't persist. They were all localized on that left side of my chest. I also experienced a popping type of pain just below my right ribcage yesterday, perhaps an intestinal thing. Two nights ago I awoke to a loud buzzing noise in my ears that sounded like bees. I think that's separate, but everything is hitting my like a ton of bricks right now.

I'm just wondering if this does sound like mitral valve prolapse?
