Hi I had an ECGEcg Electrocardiogram (ecg) Exercise stress test Post myocardial infarction ecg wave tracings done at a pathology lab on Monday the results were faxed over to my psycologist and he said everything was fine my doctor also got the results sent to her and its comming up with SINUS RHYTHEM NONSPECIFIC LATERAL ST ABNORMALITY she is now sending me to a cardiologist next friday. I would like to know wat this means as I also suffer PanicPanic disorder Panic disorder with agoraphobia and
Anxiety and its not helping not knowing and I dont think I can last the week not knowing can anyone shed some lite on this for me it would be much appreciated.
There are a lot of thing that can cause changes in the ST portion of the ECGEcg Electrocardiogram (ecg) Exercise stress test Post myocardial infarction ecg wave tracings. That is why it's called nonspecific. We see it quite frequently so without nay other context it's ahrd to tell you too much. I would let the cardiologist take a look, in the mean time I wouldnt try to get too worked up about it as it is a rather commonCommon cold finding.
Your doctor is simply being appropriately cautious in referring you for furthur evaluation.
