EKG results upsetting HELP...

In a freeway accident on May 28,2010, riding as a passenger..101 freeway CA.   Accident caused major stress..
Visit to my MD 3 days later.. EKG results borderline abnormal possibly due to myocardia Ischemia?  Doctor says
I need to see a heart doctor.. Blood tests normal..   I was so upset the day of the office visit, full panic mode.
Could my stress cause an abnormal EKG result ?   The nurse was rather rude performing the EKG test..
I have always been healthy, no colds. weight 126   5'8" female..  Now I am freaked out...
I have no health insurance due to the poor ecomony. Real estate agent..  Could I have a false
EKG reading due to my stressful situation?  I would appreciate any advise or suggestions..
Thanks, Cher

I would certainly keep on top of this. An EKG, with someone stressed would show artifact as well as a faster than normal heart rate. In some, if there is ischemia, it might show up with the faster heart rate. Were you having any chest pain, ACHING in your chest, arms, neck or back?

yes the ekg could of been wrong. you cannot go by them. i went to a med first and they told me i was having bad heart problem go to hospital. scared me to death i went to my cardio dr and he said it was wrong they didnt know how to read it or ws wrong.
went to a new gp did ekg came back adnormal. went to my cardio they looked at ekg and all that i had done at there place . it was normal for me i have a dip where it should not but had all my life so very normal ekg for me.

try not to stress over a ekg--- yes you should have it checked out, get another ekg somewhere elsa, and see what they say, but do check it out.
