ok. sounds reasonable enough. but it just worries me that he didnt give us a difinitive answer to my question, the question being, how does it look as far as his having ASD? dr has also confirmed a murmur but wont put a name to it either. its just all a little disconcerting since my boyfriend has been so tired, i should say fatigued, lately, no matter how much rest he gets. as a rule he doesnt notice the palpitations/flutters but lately they have been so frequent and to quote my boyfriend, HARD, that he loses his breath with them and is getting dizzy with them, as well. i just want to make sure that something isnt going to happen to him. i love him but i would also hate to have one of his episodes hit him while he is driving or working on a ladder. as for a second opinion, kinda hard to do. we have no ins. and at the moment with a little one on the way cant really afford for him to get ins. (i have state aid for me. he makes too much to get coverage. nice huh?)
thank you for your input. i really do greatly appreciate it!
If it looked off generally further investigation would have been scheduled. If you are concerned seek another opinion but most ectopics are nothing to be concerned about.
I guess if the doctor thought the EKG showed anything he thought significant he would have made you all aware of it, if in doubt you could always seek a 2nd opinion.
