EKG results

Hope a doctor will respond.  Had a recent EKG as I had complained of a feeling of some tightness in my chest and throat to my doctor at Stanford, mesenteric them a message. Thought it was from the Amatiza or Gabaoentin they prescribed. They advised me to have a priority EKG here ( I am over 2 hours away) this was on a Monday.  Called Sutter Gould and my PCP was out that week, notified Stanford and again was told to get it done. Gould finally did it on Friday!  Doctor fit me in her schedule and said it was ok.  Had follow up with my PCP the next week and he said it was abnormal but he was not concerned. I am confused.  Have nit been well for months, GI problems, nausea, chronic dry mouth and throat and am bad today.
Can anyone interpret this please?

Rate. 71
PR.  86
QRSD. 90
P-QRS-T. 59/67/57

BMP interpretation:
Mescalero.  Sinus Rhythm - Short PR syndrome
PRi= 86
- Negative per cordial T waves
Degree. Borderline Rhythm

Anyone? Should I worry?

Thanks

I think there are not many people who participate here who can "read" an EKG, myself included.  The only item I understand besides the heart rate, is a missing P-wave, or atrial fibrillation (the P-wave is the atrium firing).

On breathing I am trying to find time (I'm retired, how can it be I can't find time?), I plan to listen and consider Yoga Breathing - Art of Pranayama.  I have an audio CD from the library and am on the second renewal and haven't yet listened to.  Pranayama was recommended to me by the MD participating on the "Respiratory Disorders"  community.  I had posted there on my chronic nighttime nasal congestion.  Not related to the subject of this community, but it is 'your" thread.  I have also found a strong controlled but over-the-counter anti contestant with 120 mg of psenfoephedring (sp?).  That works somewhat but is to be used with caution if one suffers from heart disease such as I do.

Hi Jerry.  No colonoscopy, just a cleanse due to constipation.  Those preps always make me sick.
Doctor has changed my medication fir the constipation so will see how that goes.
Nobody seems concerned with the EKG.
Can't get the disgusting tests they want done at Stanford.  Now have a bothersome hemorrhoid!  Never had this before and it hurts.
Good luck on the physical!!
Have to go get my Mom up, give her a breathing treatment and start the day.
Supposed to be 88 today!!
Thanks

Just now getting back to this community and see you responded to my post.

I hope you are doing better, a few days to recover I hope.

If you are talking about a colonoscopy then I know the problem with the stuff to drink to accomplish the flush necessary for a GI examination.   I've had many myself as I have a chronic polyp production problem - all benign so far.

Seen a private message is you want to go off-line.

On the good side, our little Westie is doing okay and has an annual physical coming up soon.

Hi Jerry,
Been pretty sick fir some time, lot of GI problems.
Yes, saw my PCP.  Had a cardiovascular angiogram a couple of years ago.
Dry mouth for a very long time, chronic and constant, throat also. Been tested for Sjorgens twice with biopsies.
Now gave to do a colon cleanse due to major plugged up issues.
Very nauseated this morning, must be the Ducolax and have to drink a whole bottle if Miralax today.  Just really sick.

Sorry to read of your problem...we do much better helping on the dog Community ;  )

Hard to guess what your EKG might show, I like the NSR part - I'm in atrial fibrillation.

I assume you have had a general physical exam - mine is coming up in May.

The dry mouth problem, during the day or just when waking up from sleeping ?  Breathing through the mouth will cause dry mouth and may indicate a breathing obstruction (obstructive sleep apnea - the common form as lying down usually aggravates this condition) .
