Echo Report

I hope someone can answer my question regarding a recent echo, My husband has had 2 heart attacks, had 3 stents to RCA and on  all appropriate  meds.
The report reads
Mild left ventricular Dilation, basal septal and basal inferior wall motion hypokinesia,Overall LV Systolic function preserved,
No evidence of aortic valvulopathy
trivial mitral reguurgitation
Normal right ventricular systolic function, right chamber not dilated, no significant pulmonary hypertension 25 mmhg systolic pap, Trivial pulmonary valve regurgitation, no evidence pulmonary stenosis, no patent foramon ovale.LVEF 2d 67
Could someone explain this in laymen terms
Thank You

I'm no expert (for sure) but since nobody else took a crack at this, I'll give it my best guess by dissecting pieces of the report.

Mild left ventricular Dilation, >>>  the left ventrical is mildly enlarged (multiple possible causes)

basal septal and basal inferior wall motion hypokinesia,Overall LV Systolic function preserved, >>>  there is decreased movement noticed in some of the heart wall and septum (perhaps scarred from the MI) but the overall pumping action is maintained

No evidence of aortic valvulopathy >>>  aortic valve is normal

trivial mitral reguurgitation >>>  insignificant amount of backflow through mitral valve

Normal right ventricular systolic function, right chamber not dilated, no significant pulmonary hypertension 25 mmhg systolic pap,   >>>  normal right ventricle pumping and size and pressure going into lungs

Trivial pulmonary valve regurgitation, >>>  insignificant backflow of blood through pulmonary valve

no evidence pulmonary stenosis, >>>  no narrowing

no patent foramon ovale. >>>  this opening between the atria that is normally present before birth, closed properly after birth

LVEF 2d 67 >>>  left ventricular ejection fraction using 2-dimentional technique (I think less accurate than 3d) is 67% which is pretty darn good

Remember, I'm NOT a professional but this sounds like a pretty good report to me.  I guess it all depends on past history and present symptoms, if any.  Let me know if I was close and good luck to you and your hubby.
