why would you be confused? the numbers themselves are really not that far apart. I am a patient at Mayo and pretty much go with the information they provide. As Tony points out, a Dr on Medhelp has a set of numbers he rolls with. Take your choice and there you go. (Mine is running below 40% and I am not going to worry about it.)
My EF was 12%. I left the country, had my Stem Cells replicated last November. Just completed a Muga Scan....known to be the "cadilac" of tests to determine EF number. It is now at 30%. Never would have happened without autoglunos stem cells.....what a shame one has to leave the country for the procedure. Those numbers do count when you are looking for a quality of life. I had no heart issues until a viral attack.
Doctor that did the Stem Cell procedure has offices in Florida. The actual procedure was done in the Dominican Republic...after my stem cells were replicated in Israel.
And it's ejection fraction ;) Hope that helps.
Because the left ventricle is the heart's main pumping chamber, ejection fraction is usually measured only in the left ventricle (LV). A normal LV ejection fraction is 55 percent to 70 percent.
