Ejection fraction

Can some one tell me what a normal ejection fraction is for a 40 year old? Where would I be able to find this information?
Does the ejection fraction change when you are active (working out) compared to when one is at rest, or does it always remains the same?

55-70% like they said.  In a normal heart, your EF should rise with exercise as well.  An echo, I have been told, can be looked at as +/- 10% for the EF.  It does change a little from minute to minute.

Is there any medication which would assist in improving the level of ejection fraction percentage?  Following a heart attack ,my EF was found to be 26% in an Echo test done in October 2007.I haven't reassessed it later.I'm on medications to improve the condition of my heart. Will it help build up my EF?
