Can the occassional use of cocaine by snorting lead to endocarditis in someone more sucseptible to it due to MVP (thickened valve with trace regurgitation--no stenosis)? What if the nose bleeds?

Steve,
I will not lead to endocarditis unless injected. You are predisposed to endocarditis due to your vaalve structure. HOwever, it can cause a heart attack due to coronary spasm induced by the cocaine.
