Enlaged Right Ventrical and Pseudocoarctation Aorta

I have been having shortness of breath, serious fatigue, and chest pain for about 3-4 years.  These symptoms have gotten much worse over the last year, year & a half.  i barely have enough energy to do 1/2 days work, and no energy to be with family/do work at home.  I currently tale neurontin, hydrocodone, serzone, effexor, flexiril, Albuterol, flow-vent, aleve
lately my doctor has taken it more seriously and has orderd a bunch of tests.  findings indicate: my thyriod is normal, liver normal, SEVERE sleep apnea (109 dist/hour and am on CPAP), *enlarged right ventricle, Pseudocoarctation of the Aorta* (diagonsed with CT scan with iodine), and Fybromyalgia (by my rheumitologist).
In 2005 i had a serious staph infection under my RT kneecap.  I was very close to blood piosoning and/or loosing my leg/life.  during the first operation i experianced complete respritory failure after the breathing tube was pulled.  my lungs filled with fluid and i was on respritory therapy for a few months.  to this day, i found through a friend/nurse that works there that they have no idea why it happened.

my questions are:
-- could the events of 2005 have caused these symptoms/problems?
-- can an enlarged RT ventricle cause the heart to turn in the chest, causing the pseudocoarct (twist/kinking)?
-- I'm also looking for any proffesional opinions on what my future may hold?  improvement? surgery? more heart disease?

Thank you for any help!                  ------- Eric

Pseudocoarctation of the Aorta is usually a rare congenital condition.  You should let our family members know that you have this, so that they can watch for it in their own health.  Enlarged right ventricle is not as serious as if it were the left right ventricle.  The main thing is to watch your diet and make sure that you are not eating lots of salt and red meat.  Make sure that you know your cholesterol levels LDL, HDL, and triglycerides.  Eat mostly fresh fruits and vegetables.  Organic is best.  Eat foods with Omega 3 such as eggs with Omega 3 and Salmon.  Make sure that you are getting enough vitamin D, vitamin B in your diet.  Take prescription medications as prescribed by your doctor.  It is great that you are on the CPAP.  How well you take care of yourself now will predict your future.  Take care.
