Epigastric disease

Hi, I'm new here.

   Ok..I went to the hospital for pain/pressure in the upper middle part of my stomach.
I was given medication and sat there for a bit and it came back..

My question now is....I still have the pain.pressure , Don't feel like eating because it feels like there is a lump in my throat, i also get the feeling that i am going to vomit. And it last for days...It comes on mostly when i get stressed...


Any suggestions helpful.

Joyce, I too have a tightening sensation like having someone tighten a belt too tight around my rib cage.  It feels like if I eat more than a few bites, it will come back up and or get stuck in my asophgus which causes a terrible pain.  I sometimes have these spasm's there which I can see contract and then release. I was told that I have an epicgastric hernia. The dr. said the pain may or may not be related, but he's going to repair it this time with mesIh as the first time it was just sewn up which didn't hold after 3 years it's back.  I'm hoping this explains all the pain, which also included having sharp stabbing pains last week in my right side and may be causing my back pain.  I'm hoping this surgery will help. Otherwise I'm stumped, cause they said that I didn't have stones in my bile duct which I thought because I've heard that can happens if you have your gall bladder removed.  It's possible that you either have a nonfunctioning gall bladder or a hernia.  I would check with you dr.
