Estradiol and Severe Microvascular dysfunction

I have cardiac syndrome X wearing two 0.6 mg nitro patches 24/7 and remain with anginal like signs ( non-obstructive cardiac vessels) with simple, minimal exertion which I supplement with nitrospray prn. It has been suggested by my FP in conversation with a well known cardiologist that I try estradiol in its pure form for it's affect on vasodilation, thereby, perhaps decreasing my episodes of chest pain/tightness. I am 7 years post menopause. I have not discussed this with my local cardiologist,or most importantly with my primary research cardiologists until I get more information. And I can't find any specific information on web searches on this drug and MVD, and not in any studies. I am otherwise very healthy, no notable history, take two daily 325mg aspirin and Crestor, no clotting issues, never smoked and I have a great lipid profile.
