Explain Cardiolite report

Explain Cardiolite report

Could someone explain in laymans terms what these results mean:

Stress Perfusion Imaging:  Results
Post stress images in the verical long axis, horizontal long axis, and short axis views demonstrate inferior and a portion of the apex hypoperfused.

Resting Perfusion Imaging:  Results
Resting images in the veritcal long axis, horizontal long axis, and short axis views demonstrate partial filling in of the defect, approx. 50% of the defect is filled in.

Post stress/recovery gated ejection fraction is normal at 55%

Impression:  Abnormal post stress Cardiolite and rest Thallium perfusion imaging revealing evidence of previous inferior-apical-lateral infarct, a rather small infarct with 50% of the area appearing to be ischemic.

Thank you

Small heart attack with heart tissue damage. Heart valves normal at 55% ejection fraction which is of a normal heart.  Hope this helps.
