Extreme foot pain in graft leg after bypass

I hear the leg that the graft came form often has pain for awhile. However, while my leg is tolerable, my foot is not.  Excruciating pain most of the time and I rely on pain pills so I can walk. Various pains in calf and foot often feel like foot or leg is on fire, or being stabbed with a knife, or smashed with a sledgehammer.  The last is the most common for the foot and my be just the top of the foot or the toes or even just individual toes.  There seems to be no rhyme or reason. I have had one doctor hint I probably had nerve damage but did not know how long or even if the pain would go away.
I think the vein strip did not go well ( first timer??) as I had a hematoma ( turned black and purple) all the way up my left leg to the left buttock, tailbone and scrotum) 3 nurses in the hopsital slipped and asked "who did that??". So I'm thinking if 3 said it a lot more were thinking it!)
What treatment can be done for this and will it ever get normal feeling again??
I am in Cardiac rehab now ( the susrgery was 2 months ago) and while it is helping with stamina etc. I think it is making my left leg and foot worse!
