First cardiologist visit

I'm a 36 year old male with a history of hypertension (on medication) and a slightly elevated cholesterol. I had an EKG about three years ago and a stress test about two years ago (both ok at the time, although the EKG was borderline, whatever that means). I've been have having problems with palpitations and slight chest discomfort recently and have scheduled my first visit with a cardiologist next month. What can I expect to happen at the cardiologist appointment? What tests should I expect to have done? Will another EKG and stress test be needed?

HEY I'M 32 EVERYTHING IS NEARLY THE SAME AS YOURS BLOOD PRESSURE I'VE HAD STRESS, ECO, AND EKG'S THEY RULED MINE AS ANXIETY I'M STILL HAVING PALPITATIONS THEY CAUGHT THEM WITH A 24 HOUR MONITER RULED AS HARMLESS PAC'S BUT I AM TRIPPING OUT OVER THIS MY SUGGESTION WOULD BE NOT TO LOOK THIS CRAP UP ON THE WEB IT ONLY WORSENS THE ANXIETY.
