Fit and Healthy but under stress

Hi . I am usually on the cancer forum for my Mum so this is so unexpected. My dad just had heart attack(pains, etc ) and admitted to hospital Monday for tests. His cholesterol is 4.9 he is fit, doesn't take salt, has good diet ,etc.  My Mum has been battling terminal ovarian cancer for about 1 year. Can stress cause this and also he getsVERY wound up when watching football matches on TV. Can this combined with other stress cause H/A in otherwise healthy person

Too much stress is bad for the heart.  When my mom was in the hospital after having heart surgery (she did not survive) my blood pressure went way up.  My blood pressure was always 90/60 and it went up to 137/85 just from stress.  I also had chest pains and one actually lasted close to 30 minutes (not quite I took an aspirin).  This happened last September and my blood pressure is still 120/76 and occasionally I get chest pains, but not since I started taking a low dose aspirin daily.  Stress can cause heart damage and it is documented in studies of people who lost a loved one, went through a divorce, or built a house.  Vitamin B's help calm the nerves, so that might be a good supplement for him to take if okay by his doctor.
