Dear Barbara, thank you for your question. Your blood pressure fluctuations are higher than normal and that probably relates to your underlying problem of hypertension. Your BP ideally should be below 130/80 except during exercise where it may increase to 160-170. If your BP is consistently above 140/90, then you may need a different combination of blood pressure medications or higher doses of the medicines you're taking now.
