Flutters, Dizzieness.

Hi. Since novembe last year i have had this problem. It comes at random times, it is like a flutter below my sternum right where the xiphoid bone is. its like a gassy fluttery feeling and takes my breath away for a few seconds and on occasion makes me feal dizzy or slightly faint and i feel my heart beat stronger when it happens. They are just below the sternum 1cm or 2cm. Also sometimes if i walk somewhere or i do excerside my heart beats really hard and feels horrible..  I have had a echocardiogram which shown a normal structural heart, Also i have had 5 E.C.G's all have been normal. had a thyroid test and that was fine, Had pancreas blood tests all fine. Blood sugar fine. my blood pressure was slightly elavated for my age but still within normal limits and also i am on 80 mg slow release beta blockers because my resting heart rate was 94. any ideas what this could be because i am mythed, if i can find out why i may be able to come off beta blockers and get by h/r and b/p down. I do smoke 15 a day drink tea, drink coke. Any one help me..

Have they been able to see if you have any problems with arrhythmias?  It sounds like you are having skipped or missed beats.  I did.  But it wasn't seen all the time.  I had to go to the doctor while I was having the fluttering and feeling my heart skip beats.  I was diagnosed with SVTs.
