The more I follow this panel the more confused I get. You have a total Cholesterol of 118 and an HDL of 75 and all kinds of heart problems. My total Cholesterol is 240 and HDL 55 without any obvious problems except a very high Calcium score. The argument that is frequently made is: "this is all about statistics and there will be some outliers". But when you conpare this, it doesn't make much sense any more - at least to me it doesn't.
No routine tests here. After a triple bypass and 10 stents, I'm expected and trusted to know my own body and report to the hospital if I feel anything out of the ordinary. So far I've avoided a heart attack and been correct with blockages forming due to angina symptoms. My experience has always been that tests pick up things well after I've felt them. I complained of strong angina once for 4 weeks, tests revealed nothing. Then I became very dizzy and called an ambulance and tests finally showed I was close to a heart attack. Since then, they have listened to me.
