I wonder if anyone who previously posted back 10 years ago about PVCs or other arrhythmia care to share any new updates about their condition ten years later.  Have they found a solution to their PVCs?  How are they coping today?

This discussion is related to PVCs during and post exercise.

I have had pacs since I was 19 now 54 and still here they have not killed me yet lol, there are times I go months and have none than they come and I have a few a day than gone again, than like this year it's been no fun, twice I've had them for 8 to 10 hours straight every 4 to 8 heartbeat, very scarey even went to the hospital the last time, was there 8 hours and they said I had a lot but all pacs nothing to worry about.

So yes lots of us on here had for years, mine come and go, no reason for them, I learn to live with them but still at times I get scared and go to dr. Prayers they get that one magic pill to take them away forever.

If medications don't work and you have lots of PVC's which are causing you anxiety, is there any other treatment they can offer? I'm guessing a pacemaker wouldn't fix this problem because the extra beat will have occurred when the pacemaker realises it?

Hi there,

I have had PVC's and PAC's for 7 years now.  Exercise-induced arrhythmias are not very pleasant but I have learned to just live with it.  I don't tolerate Beta Blockers very well due to low blood pressure and have tried calcium channel blockers, but nothing really eliminates them. So I've decided: it is harmless and as long as my heart is still beating, I am fine.

I had Afib and PSVT's and that can cause strokes and is debilitating, so for that I had successful Cardiac Ablation.

As long as you don't have alarming symptoms:  i.e. shortness of breath, chest pain, edema. you should not worry about PVC's and PAC's.
