For A-Fib What Are The Alternative Rx?

Alternatives to AMIODARONE which I have decided is too dangerous to continue use.

I am presently taking Diltiazem, enalapril, and metaprolol if my heart rate exceeds 80.

I manage spurious and infrequent bouts of very high blood pressure with isosorbide in addition to the other BP meds.
"High" means 180 / 95 "Infrequent"  means no more often than every third or fourth day, one dose.

I am attempting to control A-Fib by controlling my BP and pulse. My BP with A-Fib soars to 170 / 140 with a pulse of 140 or higher.

I have been on Amiodarone 200 mg BID since December with no reoccurance of A-Fib, but have dramatically reduced the frequency of dosage (200 mg. every fourth day) for the last 2 weeks.

I understand that Amiodarone takes WEEKS to expell from the system. I am hoping that by controlled BP and pulse I will continue to avoid A-Fib

Is there an alternative to what Rx I am on?

Thank You
