I told my cardiologist I was concerned that my artery was bruised after the cath. because I've experienced LOTS of palpitations since the procedure and I sweat and get hot flashes. I'm not menopausal (I'm actually only 28 years old) I was given an EKG which was normal. Will an EKG always show a damaged artery or should I have a stress test? I'm very concerend. Please help. Thanks

Dear  Lourdes,
I am not sure what your doctor meant by a bruised artery.   Typically PVC’s are not due to "plumbing problems" (i.e. blood flow from the arteries) but are due to "electrical problems".  You can find many questions about PVC’s in the archived questions that should address your concrens.
