Fot those who take Toprol

Hello. I take Toprol XL and they now have a generic brand for it and I have still been paying for the regular med. not the generic. Does anyone take the generic and have you noticed a difference between the two? I am a little uneasy about generics and especially with my heart med.

I wouldn't worry too much about a generic.  I used to take Ativan, and only one particular generic worked for me, but I was incredibly sensitive to it.  Thankfully I don't have to take it anymore.  What I'm saying is worst case scenario it might be less effective or more effective, but chances are it will work exactly the same.
